And here's another teaser from Canon USA. It says only destined evolution, but it really doesn't take a brain surgeon to realise they're getting at 5D mkII. So if you add this ad to the previous, you can see Canon is really building up to the launch of a new camera.

Now EOS 5D is already 2 years old and the competition is getting stronger, especially with the new full frame introduced by Nikon: D3. So as many agree, 5D is due to upgrade very soon. The new name is likely to be EOS 5D Mark II, altough it is not out of possibility that Canon may name the new as a new series like 3D or 7D.
