Digic III would make no sense.
I'm surprised they would put a 50mm 1.4 lens on that on the marketing brochure... Rather a new kit lens such as the 24-105L II...
I tend to agree jackm. They just can't make a step back compared to 50D.
wp france: It's a standard lens to put on their products. Check some of the older models;).
Do you really understand DIGIC III or Digic 4 or whatever by seeing the photo?
